Serving Spotlight
Kids Ministry
Kids Midweek Leader
Lead a group of 8-12 children in 1st-5th grade by engaging them in the lesson or activity, connecting them to one another, and modeling worship and active listening.
Shine Buddy
Be a one-on-one buddy to help our children and students with special needs participate in our Sunday Morning or Weeknight Kids and Student Ministry programs.
Training provided.
Sunday Small Group Leader
Facilitate discussion about the weekly lesson with a small group of children. While leading the group, you will also forge a mentoring relationship with them so that they learn more about Jesus and grow in their faith.
Special Events Crew
Special Events take many hands to pull off. Help setup and decorate, run games and activities, manage food tables, and more. This is perfect for those who cannot commit to a set serving schedule. Serve as needed.

Missions Hospitality Team
Open your home to Global Partner visiting Black Rock! As a member of our hospitality team you’ll host Global Partners for the duration of their stay, offering them either a room or an entire house, according to your ability.
Missions Week Volunteer Opportunities
If you’d like to employ your gifts to engage our church to pray, give, and go in support of God’s work around the world, these are the opportunities for you. Serving commitment varies by role, but generally, it will be 1-3 hours weekly between January-March. Volunteer opportunities include: event planning and setup, set design and construction, administrative assistance, prayer support, and Wednesday kids’ programs.
