Sanctuary (Young Adults)
Join us Sundays at 5:00 PM!
Black Rock’s young adult community (18-35 year olds), also known as “Sanctuary,” is committed to creating an environment where you, no matter where you are in your faith journey, can be transformed by Jesus.
We gather Sundays at 5:00 PM in the Worship Center for worship and a message until about 6:30 PM.
Afterwards, we offer free coffee and tea in our cafe and time for you to hang out with others in the community!

Midweek Summer Nights
When: 7PM | Kickoff Jun 18 | Jul 2, Jul 16, Jul 30, Aug 13
Where: Black Rock Church
Midweek is our young adult summer gathering that meets every other Thursday night. We’ll have the grill going, games, a message from someone in our community, and small groups. It’s a great way to meet people, build community, and invite friends who don’t go to church. Bring a beach chair or blanket and come hang out with us this summer!

Ignite College Ministry
Ignite is our college age group for 18 to 23 year olds meeting throughout the summer at Russ’ House at 7PM. We’ll have food, hangs, and a brief message each week. You can join us for both Ignite and Midweek, giving you something to be part of every Thursday throughout the summer. Follow us on Instagram for updates!
When: 7PM | Bi-Weekly
Where: Russ’ House (Park at the church on the garage side lot & walk the trail)
Who: 18-23 year olds

Come To A Connect Party
Are you new to the Sanctuary community? We’d love to invite you to our next Connect Party right after service in the Next Steps Room. This is a great opportunity to meet people, hear more about who we are, and how you can get plugged in at Sanctuary. You’ll hear about our Serving Teams, Small Groups, and other fun events. We also will provide dinner for free.
No need to sign up, just show up!

Pre-Engagement and Pre-Marriage Prep
Thinking about walking down the aisle? We want to walk with you on your journey towards the altar! If you’re seriously dating and considering engagement or are already engaged, we invite you to join our 8-week mentorship program. This program will lead you through a process to help you assess your relational strengths as well as areas to work on. We hope to equip you for the adventures of marriage and help you and your significant other evaluate whether now is the time to take your relationship to the next level.

Gap Year/Global Intern Program
If God is calling you to missions, He will prepare you for that work. And that is the whole point of this Gap Year program. It’s the starting point in your journey. It is the response to the prompting of God on your heart that He may be calling you to missions. If you are a missions-minded young adult, ages 18-26, we encourage you to explore this calling!
