Create an atmosphere where people are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ and the Black Rock community over great conversation and great Café goods!

Help people connect with God by helping them connect with others and with Black Rock. As a CC host, you’ll be the first relationship many visitors have at our church. You’ll also have the opportunity to recommend the next steps for those in our community who have been at BRC for a while but haven’t connected yet.

So often, Greeters define the experience for first-time visitors at BRC. With a smile and a joyful spirit, Greeters are able to help visitors feel like they belong at Black Rock. If you’re passionate about helping people feel welcome and comfortable, you’re perfect for this role!

Connect meaningfully with parents and families who are visiting BRC as the first person they may meet. This role includes making deep connections with those families, showing them around the kids’ areas for the first time, and answering any questions they have. If you like making deeper connections, you’re a perfect fit for this team!

In between services, help those who attend our church to take their next step in owning their faith. As you assist people in using our website and Realm app, you’ll help them identify and signup for groups, seminars, serving teams and other connection opportunities at Black Rock.

Did you know that our parking hosts actually have reserved spots for families and are the very first people to identify our guests? The experience people have with our church actually starts out in our parking lot, so this is a great opportunity to help connect with God and our church.

Engage Resource Center visitors in conversation and based on our inventory, suggest physical and digital resources that will support their growth in areas such as prayer, Bible study, relationships and parenting, Christian living and more. By helping them connect with these resources, hosts will help those who attend Black Rock to continue to grow in their faith even after they leave our services!

Come alongside someone who is not yet confident with their English language skills to help them feel more connected at Black Rock. Opportunities vary according to the needs of our church with a primary focus on written translation of growth and connection resources. Let us know your level of fluency and availability, and we will find the right fit for you!

Our Worship Center can be overwhelming for many first-time visitors and regular attendees. Being a great Usher is all about creating personal relationships with those coming to worship, and aiding them in finding a seat. You’re able to substitute a stressful experience for an incredible one! If you’re interested in helping guests and regular attendees feel loved and welcomed, you’d be a great Usher!
