We believe the church is intentionally crafted by God to unite believers of all life stages, fostering mutual support and sharing life’s journeys infused with His presence.

Engaging beyond Sunday worship services creates a web of connections to enhance your spiritual growth and extend a lifeline of assistance in times of need. Senior adults are valued for their unique perspectives, talents, and life experiences and play an integral role in enriching the fabric of our church community.

Ways to Grow

Worship in a Service Style that Speaks to Your Heart

Black Rock Church is blessed to provide multiple worship service styles on Sundays including:

Traditional Service (8:30AM) with hymns, classical instruments, a reverent atmosphere and a quieter volume.

Contemporary Service (10:00 and 11:30AM) with upbeat energy, recently written worship music and louder volume.

Sanctuary Young Adult Service (5:00PM) designed for adults age 18-35 in a similar style to the morning Contemporary service.

Connect with Others Through a Community Group

Community Groups meet regularly throughout the year in various towns to study the Bible and encourage one another as they seek to apply spiritual truths to everyday life. Groups intentionally blend older and younger, single and married, newer and more seasoned Jesus-followers into one local space to equip and encourage each other.

Our senior adult community (55 years & older) meets for luncheons on the 1st Friday of each month (Sept-June) from 12:00-2:00 PM.

The Senior of the Rock (SOR) focus is on building supportive relationships that help seniors grow as Christ-followers. SOR also hosts special activities throughout the year.
