God created us to experience a life of joy, purpose, and hope through a relationship with Him. That’s why Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” At Black Rock Church, we believe that full life is found in a growing relationship with God.

The Journey is Black Rock Church’s discipleship pathway—a clear and practical way to grow in your relationship with Jesus and experience the full life He offers. The Journey isn’t about checking boxes or becoming religious. It’s about learning to walk with Jesus every day and experiencing the fullness of life He promises.

Equip is a 12-week course that helps you build practical habits for a growing relationship with God. Rather than simply learning about spiritual growth, you’ll actually practice six key discipleship essentials that can transform your everyday life.
Throughout the course you’ll:
Develop practical habits that strengthen your relationship with God.
Practice each discipleship essential in real-life settings.
Receive weekly challenges that help you put your faith into action.
Build rhythms that encourage lifelong spiritual growth.
These practices don’t earn God’s love—they simply position us to know Him more deeply, walk with Him more closely, and experience more fully the life He desires for us.

Get Baptized
Baptism is a symbol of identifying with Christ in his death and resurrection. We are lowered into the water and raised out as a visual representation of our new life as a follower of Jesus.
Become A Member
While some churches offer membership as a first step that opens doors to further connection, at Black Rock we encourage wholeheartedly following Jesus with us for at least 9-12 months before formalizing a commitment through church membership.
Why Be a Disciple of Jesus?
Many people today are searching for more—more peace, more purpose, more joy—but often find themselves overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted by the pressures of life. Thankfully, God designed us for something better.
