What is Chikondi Adventures?
Black Rock Global Kids is partnering with Chikondi for our year-long missions experience: Chikondi Adventures.
Throughout the year, kids and families will follow Chikondi—a Christian TV and YouTube program—and learn how their prayers and giving help bring God’s Word to children across the Middle East and Africa.
Through this project, kids will discover God’s heart for the world and how they can be part of His mission through prayer and giving.
Meet Chikondi & Why This Matters
Chikondi is a fun, curious, and lovable orangutan who loves to sing, read, and ask big questions about life.
Through engaging Bible-based episodes—including stories, songs, memory verses, prayer, and life application—Chikondi helps children learn and grow in their faith.
Chikondi reaches kids across the Middle East and Africa—impacting 45 countries and 5 languages, with over 1 million views worldwide.
For some children, this may be the only way they ever hear about Jesus.
Here’s how your family can help bring 13 brand-new Chikondi episodes to kids in the Middle East and Africa!
PRAY
Pray as a family each week for the new Chikondi episodes & the children who will hear them. Write your prayers on the paper oranges and hang them on the prayer trees in the BRC Kids areas.
GIVE
Help us reach our mission goal of $2,500 to help produce and broadcast 13 brand-new Chikondi episodes to share with kids around the world.
FOLLOW
Families will receive a monthly update & prayer requests as we follow the Chikondi adventure together throughout the year.
