Thanksgiving Blessing Bags
This Thanksgiving, as people continue coping with challenging times, make a huge difference by joining hundreds at Black Rock to bless families by providing them with a holiday meal.
Giving a meal is an act of compassion that shows you care. Our Thanksgiving Blessing Bags help us live out loud our love for others as we follow Jesus’ example of meeting needs wherever we go.

Submit a Deserving Family’s Name
We know there are a lot of families in the church who are in need, but we won’t know about all of them if YOU don’t tell us. Submit a deserving family’s name for them to receive a Blessing Bag, even if that person is part of your own family!
- Know of a BRC family in need? Submit their name.
- If you are a part of BRC and have a relative who doesn’t attend here, but who is in need and would be blessed by one of these bags, please submit their name.
Deadline to submit names: Thursday, November 13
To sign up, please follow the steps below:
Pick Up A Blessing Bag
at Black Rock on Sunday, November 2 or 9, from 8:30AM to 1:00PM, or at the church office from 9:00AM to 5:00PM through November 13.
Purchase Items On The Simple Shopping List
Deliver the Filled Blessing Bag
Deliver the filled Blessing Bag to your assigned family by the deadline date. If you’re donating a bag to one of our Community Engagement partners, bring it back to Black Rock on Sunday, November 16 or 23, from 8:30AM – 1:00PM. Please leave your filled bag(s) by your car for pickup.
