I grew up at Black Rock Church and was active in ministry programs that shaped my passion for serving others. I have a Master’s in Human Services Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Family and Child Development from Liberty University. My passion is to serve couples, families, and children through Biblical counseling, creating safe spaces of empathy and compassion where relationships can be restored and strengthened in every stage of life. Meeting and connecting with people in community is essential to me, I would love to chat with you, please come say hello!
I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a passion to use my administrative gifts for God’s Kingdom. I get to oversee Black Rock’s social media, graphics, website, and Realm strategy. I am a lover of aesthetic coffee shops, country music, line dancing, reading, the New England Patriots, and my cat, Rae.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, my family moved to Connecticut in 2018 so my husband Matthew could pursue a manufacturing career. Matt and I have been married since 2015. Lincoln and Sawyer, our 2 children, fill our lives with joy. I love helping people in our church community with their practical needs, so they’re freed to deepen their relationship with Jesus. I also serve in our Moms of the Rock ministry where we create fun, engaging spaces for moms to connect and grow in their love for the Lord. My favorite things include morning coffee, family dance parties, and any combination of chocolate and peanut butter!
Born and raised in the Bridgeport area, I grew up as a pastor’s kid and have served in ministry since 1996. I now serve as Pastor of Group Life & Adult Ministries, helping others grow in faith, build strong community, and navigate life with purpose. Gina and I were married in 2004 and have two wonderful daughters. I’m passionate about teaching Scripture clearly, walking with others through life’s transitions, and sharing good food along the way.
I love being a part of connecting people with God through Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, and then seeing them grow in their walk and faith. AnnaLiisa and I have been married since 1985, and have three wonderful adult children. We started attending Black Rock in 1998. We live in Guilford. I am also privileged to be a Chaplain for professional hockey.
Originally from Massachusetts, I came to Black Rock for the Student Ministry Fellowship after graduating from Grand Canyon University in 2024. I have a big heart for spiritual formation and discipleship within the next generation and feel privileged to be a part of any young person’s journey. I also love to read, cook, and spend quality time with friends. I am super passionate about craft coffee and the art of it. So if you want a good coffee, I’ll make you one. It’s my love language.
This summer I’ll be serving as the Sanctuary Intern here at Black Rock. I was born and raised in White Plains, NY and am currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Ministry at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. While I grew up in church, God transformed my life in middle school by giving me a deep hunger for His presence and the burden for shepherding and discipleship. I’m so excited to get to walk alongside young adults in their pursuit of a greater relationship with Christ. I am a die hard Mets fan, a huge foodie, and I love watching movies.
I’ve been attending Black Rock since 2013 and became a member a few years later. I’ve served as a facilitator for a Living Free group, a community group, and I run projection for Sanctuary. In June 2025 I joined the Deacon Board. For work, I’m a Partner Manager for a health insurance company. I’m also an avid runner.
I am interning in the missions department for 10 weeks! I am a Brazilian who was born and raised in Connecticut. In 2022 I went to college to pursue a double major in Global Studies and Family and Child Development. I have a heart for the nations and a desire to help connect people in the American church to what’s going on overseas. The Lord has led me to Black Rock for the summer in order to grow in this calling that has been placed in my life. I love going on walks, playing pickleball, having long talks with people, and trying new foods.
I’ve been coming to Black Rock since 2017, and it has truly become a spiritual home for me. I love serving as a greeter, where God gives me the joy and privilege of welcoming others into His house. I’m also actively involved in several prayer groups, and I find great purpose in using the talents God has given me to help people in need—however I can. In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with all things mechanical. I’ve been blessed to share life with my wonderful wife, Wendy, since 1981. Together, we have two grown daughters and are proud grandparents to two beautiful granddaughters.
As of May 2025, I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries. Originally from Maryland, I have had the best time living in between Baltimore and DC, but I am abundantly excited to live in New England. Please stop me to say hello and tell me all of your favorite food spots!
