Whether you recently became a Christ-follower, or if you’ve been following Him since childhood, your story is important because it points to God’s miraculous work of bringing you from spiritual death to life as the Bible describes in Ephesians 2:1-9!

Need help organizing your story?

We understand that sometimes figuring out the best way to tell your story can be a struggle, so to simplify that process, start by thinking through the questions and statements below. These bullet points will be used to help put together your story.

  • Reflecting on your childhood, what was your understanding of God? Did your family attend church or talk about Jesus?
  • The Bible explains how sin separates us from God (Rom. 3:23-24). When did you realize that being a good person or trusting in good deeds wouldn’t restore your broken relationship with God?
  • Who is Jesus and what role does he have in your life?
  • Tell me about a couple of positive changes that have taken place in your life since you became a follower of Jesus.
  • If Black Rock Church has had a positive impact on your faith journey we’d love to hear about that too!
