Welcome to Black Rock Stamford!
We are so happy you found us! Black Rock Stamford is part of Black Rock Church in Fairfield. Our mission and values are the same. We believe in the importance of God’s Word, we teach from God’s Word and we try to live by God’s Word. We also seek to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit to follow the example of Jesus. Jesus is everything to us and He is the center of everything we do.
We know it can be uncomfortable going to a new church but we want you to know that we want you here and we want you to feel at home at Black Rock Stamford. Our services are very laid back, so please feel comfortable wearing causal attire.

10 AM // Contemporary Service
At Black Rock Stamford, we worship God joyfully and energetically in the intimate community that God has gifted us with at this campus. Our services usually begin with four or five modern songs led by our amazing worship team, in which our church joins together to celebrate God’s love and power. After this, our Campus Pastor, Eric Lubbert, leads us in studying God’s Word through an engaging and relatable sermon designed not just to teach our minds, but to encourage our hearts.
Join us on Sunday at 10 AM to see what God is doing in our church, and to encounter Him in an amazing way for yourself!
The Sunday Experience
Worship at Black Rock Stamford
Black Rock Stamford has a beautiful campus that includes a Chapel and a Worship Center building. The first Sunday of every month our church service is in the Chapel for an “Unplugged Service.” These services are an amazing experience featuring acoustic worship. For the three other Sundays of the month, service is help in the Worship Center building where we enjoy a Contemporary Service with a full band lead by Josh Korman, our Worship Leader.

Kids And Students at Black Rock Stamford
Kids are so important to us at Black Rock Stamford. That is why we provide Sunday school for infants up to 5th graders on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday school curriculum is the same as Black Rock Fairfield’s. All our volunteers are Safe Guard trained to ensure a safe environment for your children to learn about the Bible and Jesus, have fun with friends and grow into the individuals they have been created to be.
We have a process at Black Rock Stamford for our children: kids stay in the service with their family for worship and announcements then head to Sunday school before the sermon starts.
Black Rock Fairfield provides Middle School and High School youth group. Students go to Area 56 (5th & 6th graders) or Club JV (7th & 8th graders) on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm and Fusion (High Schoolers) on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm at Black Rock Church in Fairfield.

Every Sunday after the service we have Coffee Hour, which gives time to connect with families and other people in the church. We provide coffee and refreshments for everyone to enjoy together.
