Alan Dodd
Alan joined Black Rock as a member in 1972. He and his wife, Dottie, reside in Milford and have been married for 48 years. They have three adult children, Sara, Peter and Elizabeth, as well as four grandchildren. Alan has served in multiple ways at Black Rock, including the Board of Christian Education and the Missions Board. He has taught Sunday School, led Stockade, served at Royal Family Kids’ Camp, led music at Vacation Bible School, participated in numerous STAMP trips and the Marriage Ministry, and has been responsible for the planning and setting up of our Missions Conference displays for many years. He has retired after several years teaching art to high schoolers as well as school administration. Email Alan:   

Craig Samuelson
Craig has been a member of Black Rock since 1999 and has served on the Youth Board, Lighthouse Team, STAMP leader (New Orleans), and occasional preacher at our Easton campus. Craig has been married to Nancy for over 40 years and have three children, Mat, Carrie and Sarah, as well as eight grandchildren (with one on the way). Craig is a self-employed building contractor. John Nwangwu, MD
John has been a BRC member since 1996 (20 years). His service at Black Rock has included the Board of Missions, and while serving previously as an Elder, has been liaison to Sanctuary, Deacon Board and Fusion. He and his wife, Chioma, have been married for 28 years and they have three children, Chloe, Tobi and Kamsi. John is a public health doctor and professor with expertise in infectious diseases and epidemiology at Yale, SCSU and the World Health Organization. John and Chioma live in Woodbridge, CT.  Email John:   

Wayne Young
Wayne has been a member of Black Rock for 36 years. He has served as a counselor at Royal Family Kids' Camp, served on the Deacon Board, and has been a facilitator at our Starting Point group and Bridgeport Rescue Mission. He is also a Community Group leader. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 44 years, and have four children (Jessi, Dan, Jennifer and Matt) and have two grandchildren (with another one due in November). Wayne is a retired Phys. Bob Niedermeier
Bob came to Black Rock in 2006 and has served in various roles at BRC such as Fusion, Finance and Property, Kids Check in and as a Marriage Mentor.  Bob has also participated in numerous STAMP trips along with co-founding and managing Urban Impact, a local outreach organization for at-risk youth in Bridgeport.  He lives in Trumbull and has been married for 5 years to his wife Victoria.  They have two children Charity and Joe.  Bob runs the family businesses located in Bridgeport, Shelton and Ohio manufacturing paper packaging products. John DeBlock
John has been a member of Black Rock Church since 2004. John and his wife, Marta, live in Easton, have been married for 31 years and have 3 adult children, Hannah, John and Taylor.
John served as an Elder previously, has been on the Deacon Care Leadership Team and served part of his time as the Chairman. He also co-leads a Starting Point and Next Chapter class, facilitates a Community group in Trumbull and has helped with preaching at BRC - Easton.
John has worked as a Director of Client Services and Business Operations in a number of companies including Amdocs, EDS, HP, Dell and his latest role has been the Interim Director of Development at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.  Email John:
